This morning we had an organizational meeting with 10 at-home dads here in Des Moines. We're putting up a website to begin getting the word out at http://DesMoinesDads.com. Someone with six years experience as an At-Home Dad stepped up to get things organized. I had hoped when I came back from the National Convention to try to gather a few people together. Life was more challenging than I anticipated. I am pleased that someone else gave the time and energy to pull this together.

Looking to see if there might be some dads around in my area. If so give me a shout.

If you are reading this, you've probably been an at-home dad much longer than I have. I am a Presbyterian pastor who has set aside the pulpit for a season to raise my 24-month-old son and 14-month-old daughter. I've been at home with them for one month now and these are some of my reflections.
