I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rob, and after wanting children for many years, my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful little boy on August 3rd 2010. I have been reading a lot of the post and was overjoyed to see that there were so many stay at home Dads to connect to. I have experienced many of the feelings and obsticles that seem to be so common on this site and take comfort in knowing that I am not alone. I am sure I will learn a lot from many of you as it appears that several of you are seasoned Veterans.

I am trying to start a playgroup for SAHDs in the Fishers, IN area and wanted to get

some suggestions on the best way to start one. Does anyone have any helpful hints or

ways to get one started and people aware of the group?

I was contacted by a researcher doing a survey on gender affects on life and thought that passing it on here would help.  This is a legit study and is being overseen by Dr. Joel Wong who worked with Dr. Rochlen on his masculinity study that many of us participated in a few years back.
