The NE-WI-Dads had a record "catch" this week. Our 3rd annual "froggin!" trip to a local park in Green Bay, Wisconsin "netted" 11 frogs, one tadpole and one snapping turtle! This smashes the 2005 record of 6 frogs and 2 tadpoles and some gunk that looked like a frog until we put it in the bucket. The bottom of our bucket was nearly full when the 7 kids assisted the frogs back into the water with much sorrow on the part of the frog-loving kids. We even got our squeamish dad to actually hold a frog because his daughter flat-out refused. Way to go, whay to grow! We have yet to see a SAHM group schedule this type of event anywhere world-wide. We had a wonderful just time letting dads be dads and kids be kids. (Possible AHD Motto?) No children or frogs were harmed in the making of this life event.
