What a week!! I have been feeling off for the past three days and got soooo sick that I was power yakking for almost three hours and couldn't even stand up. Went to the ER and found out I had a viral stomach infection, SEVERE dehydration, and my blood count was way the heck off. They ended up puttin gme in the ICU. The stomach thing was non-contagious (thank goodness, my little guy gets sick so easy), and I was so dehydrated that in 24 hours they pumped 12 liters of fluid into me!!! Friggin sucked!! But I was able to beg them to let me out this afternoon, which was lucky. My wife went to an oral surgeon this morning to get some wisom teeth yanked, and she is in some seriously bad shape. I felt so guilty that I couldn't go with her today, but I'm glad that I'm home to take care of her now. (actually had to lie the Dr a little to get discharged, but don't tell my wife). I guess what I'm trying to tell you guys is that people have no friggin idea just how hard and taxing on the body being a SAHD is. Just make sure you guys take as good care of yourselves as you do your kids. If you let yourself get too run down like I did, then you can't take care of the kids. The worse thing was that the boys had to go to Grandma's overnight. I'll never let that happen again. I kow that our kids will always be #1 to all of us. Just make sure that you come in a close third (after the wife of course).
