anybody got any advice on the nightmare that is head lice?
we discovered them last thursday and it has been quite a chore trying to delouse the kids and house on a daily basis.
we used nix but several days later still are finding some live ones (although minute they are)...

Rid is the best. The generic stuff is ok but it is hard trying to comb out the girls hair. Also, I found Rid to kill better. Wash everything in hot water. Use boiling water over brushes, combs, anything to do with girls hair. Bag all toys, we told the kids that the toys were going on vacation for a couple weeks. Vacuum everything then get rid of the bag. Repeat in 9 or 10 days. Everyday look at the girls hair and try to delouse any nits that you find. Keep up with it day after day. For boys, Short hair cut. When you think you may have them beat they will come back so, keep up with the cleaning and inspections. Dont forget to do everyone in the house, even you. Inspect eyebrows.
