I'm a single Uncle (lol), i work fulltime, and I actually work partime as a baby sitter for my sisters kids. There are times though that I get home late from work and don't have time to sit there and cook something for them, so we (of course), hit the fast food joints or the restaurants like Friday's. It's not that great of food, but there really are days when I just don't have the time and my sister is dropping them off with me just as Im pulling in my own drive way. So, does anyone have any tips on feeding kids?

Deceptively delicious

You're a good uncle!

I'd recommend buying the book "Deceptively Delicious" (or getting it from the library). It has a lot of kid-friendly, healthy recipes that are nutritious. Most of the recipes have fruit or veggie purees added to them. Instead of making the purees from fresh fruits and veggies (which takes time you may not have), you can buy small jars of baby food. Many can be made in just a few minutes, including the desserts.

Our favorite is pumpkin cinnamon pancakes. I just add some canned raw pumpkin and cinnamon into the batter and the kids love them. The pancakes pack a ton of vitamin A. The tortilla cigars

Good luck,
Jim
