In this incredible movie, Bill Paxton plays a hard-working single dad with two sons. He is also possibly delusional, and believes an angel is telling him to kill people with an axe. Seeing this as holy work, the dad brings his sons into it, to make it a family business.

Now, what really makes this movie great is that Paxton's character is never anything but a loving, devoted father. He may or may not be insane, but he does such a good job of acting you have to give him points for being a good dad. Sounds crazy, doesn't it?

I'm new to the site, but I'm a big-time movie buff, and I thought that this is one of the movies just perfect for a discussion with other dads. What did anyone else think of it?

Frailty

Doesn't that have Matthew McConaughey in it? I think he plays one of the sons when he is grown up? I really liked that movie. good plot twist at the end.

Best Father/Son Vigilante Movie Ever

Its alright, but the best Father/Son Vigilante Movie ever is The Boondock Saints! (You can't beat the family prayer or William Defoe's acting) Its not a good drama - just a bunch of Irish Boston Boys who get a vision for ridding Boston of its criminal element. A must see at least once.

One of.

Boondock Saints is one of my favorite moveis. The only draw back to your argument is the fact that you don't find out the guy is their dad untill the very end...There has been lots of talk about the sequel for a long time but it is pre-productionb hell and it will probably stay there. to the sadness of all boondock saint fans.

I saw Frailty a few years ago, but forgot about it til now. It was a very good movie. Crazy and somewhat redeeming ending for the Dad. I love movies too. I can watch almost any movie.
