The wife and I went to see the musical Mama Mia in the theater on Saturday and I loved it. I'm a huge fan of musicals so it didn't surprise me (or my wife for that matter) that I liked it. My wife thought it was corny but I don't care...I LOVED IT! What did the rest of you think?

Mama Mia

I guess the point of Mama Mia was to enjoy the music. Yes, it's story line was a little week, maybe whimsical,,,,but,,,,,,,my wife and I enjoyed ,,,,,the music. If I want deep drama,,, I'll be sure to attend a drama. I don't have the numbers at hand,,,, but many people have enjoyed the broadway and off broadway productions. So man in fact that it's probably why they decided to make a movie.
All of the time and energy that goes into a production, and the unforseen variables is what makes live performance so fun.
I haven't seen Mama Mia in the movie theathers yet,,, but the wife and I have a date planned for next week.
for what it's worth,
Later

Mama Mia

I will gladly admit that I have actually seen it twice. Saw it at the famous Pantages Theatre in Hollywood California and here in Omaha Nebraska. My wife is a huge ABBA fan and that was why we went. I also like ABBA and was glad to go. We both actually enjoyed it more here in Omaha. I agree that the play premise was weak however, the fun of the show and the music was spectacular!!!!!!!!!
