Whats up everyone? I'm going to pass on the telling you a little bit about me and tell you a lot about me.

Before my daughter was born I was a high school drop out, drug dealer. I had no job and sat at home all day dealing pot and playing video games. When my now wife told me she was pregnant I changed completely. I got a job, quit dealing and smoking pot and got back into school. I ended up working two jobs for a while doing land scapping and my cooking job. Things in Detroit as many people know started going downhill, the guy I was doing lawns with couldn't afford employees and had to let me go. And the Texas Roadhouse I was working for cut me down to three days.

So we moved to California with my in-laws. I got a job at a 7-11 with a deli where I got to make all sorts of sammies and work up a great relationship with a lot of customers. Everyone loved the Detroit attitude and accent, no I don't mumble its an accent. Unfortunetly, a co-worker plotted against me and had me accused to stealing lots from the store. After a horrible confrontation with a detective I was fired. I was ignorant before going into the meeting and that cost me the job, if I knew now what I did then I wouldn't have been fired because I didn't do anything wrong at all. Everything happens for a reason and I believe the wife and I are now both way happier in our current situation then we were.

Before all this my wife has been a SAHM while I worked. But after being fired I was unable to find any work in the area. She ended up getting a sweet gig at Sony Online Entertainment and I took over the roll of SAHD. Its been a pretty decent transition, I was a mommas boy grownin up so I'm a lot better at keeping up with the domestics then my wife was. I actually like cooking and cleaning, I'm the stricter parent but also mister super fun time so its been pretty great for our daughter.

It's been a few months now and things are going great, but I've become a bit lonely and depressed. I have like all of two friends here, the one I share more interests with lives about 15$ away and the other who lives closer has a pretty big family and they are usually too busy to hang out. So here I am, looking for a place where I can say whats on my mind to people that understand. Trying to hold a conversation with a three year old usually only leads to looking out for Swiper the Fox or discussing the pros and cons of living in a pineapple under the sea.

Sorry for the wall of text! But its over now, time to clean the house and get the kid ready for nap time, talk to you later :)

I totally get it...

Hey DG - I just now started to get a little lonely - kinda funny how it creeps up on you - My daughter is 15 months old. My partner Mike works long hours and, like you said,so many walks and so many stories read over and over again, sometimes we need a change or to connect with others - Where in socal are you in?

Cardiff, or Encinetas,

Cardiff, or Encinetas, right on the coast. Traded the Detroit River for the Pacific Ocean hehe.
