Description
Steak and rice
Ingredients
- 1 thick round steak
- 3 clv garlic, minced
- 1 cn family size cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pk sliced mushrooms
- 2 T EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
- water
- rice
Instructions
Trim fat from steak. Cut steak into bite size pieces. Heat oil in large pot. Add garlic, then add steak. Stir until steak is browned. Add cream of mushroom soup and can of water. Stir. Add mushroom pieces. Cover over low heat for about 45 min or until steak is tender. Prepare Rice.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over rice with garlic bread or bread and butter
For smaller portions, but a thin steak and one small can of mushroom soup.
Notes
The kids all ask for this dish when they have a choice for their birthday dinner.
