Does anyone know of a good way to make a few bucks while being an At Home Dad?

I have the fortune of having a good sleeper and have a couple of hours per day that I'd like to use to make some money.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Obviously, it all depends on

Obviously, it all depends on what you're good at.

For example, I do freelance web and graphic design in my spare time and evenings - october17design.com

It really works out nicely and pays well, when I actually do acquire some work - which is scarce as a part-time gig as I'm not working for anyone but myself.

My local craigslist page becomes a daily stop sometimes to see if there is anyone posting in need of services related to what I can do.

Unfortunately, most of the work-at-home gigs have been saturated with scams, so I don't invest much in those. Would be nice if they weren't so scammy, though.

So, what are you thinking about doing?

Obviously, you would need to clear it with the wife. Just make sure she knows that you're doing it for the money and not for the fun of it, so it's not like you were "cheating."

If that doesn't work, buy her a really groovy polyester suit and wide-brimmed hat, and tell her she can be your pimp.

re: it depends

I have a BA in creative writing. With that and my professional experience, I believe a good fit would be writing copy for businesses, whether it be for websites, brochures, or editing letters. I'd even thought of offering a service writing thank-you notes for professionals or other follow-up type of material. Any good ideas on how to solicit my services?
