Just had to share with you all, I'm playing in a hockey tournament this weekend in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Beautiful up here this time of year. Anyway, 3 games guarunteed, and a 4th game for Champlionships if we qualify.
Game 1 was tonight. 7-0 win. My first shutout ever in 14 years of playing hockey. My team played great in front of me and I only saw about 10 shots.
Just had to share.. I'll update throughout the weekend. Game 2 Saturday (6/7) at 8:30 PM PST.

Nah, I'm very humble about this. I damn near broke into tears at the end of the game. 14 years and I finally got the Zero on my side of the scoreboard.
And now, that was yesterday. That game is done. Now I have to do that all over again tonight.
Game 3
Win 7-1.
One of the wives leaned over and said to my wife halfway through the first period, "Looks like Dayv is going to get a shutout." So much for that!
Anyway, I've got an hour before the championship game, and am trying to get my gear dried between now and then.

We won it all. 1st place, tournament champions. (for our division).
5-1 win. the goal I let in was a power play goal that I never saw. Rang in off the post.
Back home from the hill, sitting in my office, thinking about the reeking gear I have to go wash.
