Attention Atlanta Area Dads - tired of stares, whispers about your "manliness?", blatent rejection about your abilities to be a primary caregiver? Say no more, I want so desperately to end the stereotypes about dads as caregivers by proving decades of inaccurate descriptions of fathers who choose to be "mommies" to be wrong. I have been a stay @ home dad for 2 years now and wouldn't change a thing about my decision except finding appropriate play dates & activities geared towards us, the stay @ home dads. Just because women have the ability to give birth, it doesn't automatically disqualify us from being competant caregivers. I associate with other dads who share the same concerns, feelings, and frustration with the lack of Daddy Day Care options. If you feel the same, let me know and lets do this...
