Stay At Home Disciples is intended to be a group for Stay At Home Dads to congregate and talk to each other about our beliefs in God and the Bible. The group is open to anyone. Believer or non. I only ask that we respect each others beliefs and be nice to one another. Just because we believe in something doesn't give us a right to make someone feel bad about believing in something different. I will be posting Scriptures and my views on them every few days. Feel free to comment on my views of the scriptures I am using and ask any questions you may have on why I believe the way I do or challenge ( in a nice way ) what I say I think they mean. Also feel free to post your own scripture based topics and what you think they mean and what God said to you through his word. I hope that everyone, myself included, can gain something out of this group whether it be a greatier understanding of the bible or a greater understanding of those around us and how they think the bible pretains to their lives and how God effects them and blesses them.
The Love
Ok this is my first attempt at putting together a good, lesson, I guess you could call it. I believe that thos eof us who know the bible and have personal relationship with Jesus Christ our lord and God the father have been charged with an important job of teaching others about his love and the gift of eternal life and how to obtain it. I think that most modern day Churches have adapted to preaching the words of God and using the scare tactics of Hell to try and make believers out of people. I think that this doesn't make true believers out of people.
